PCPC adopts regulations for plans of development in the Central Delaware

04/20/2010 |

PCPC Regular Session

The PCPC approved regulations for proposed Plans of Development (POD) in the Central Delaware Riverfront Overlay District, but described them as ‘interim regulations on top of an interim zoning overlay” by executive director Alan Greenberger. The overlay district and POD regulations are intended to provide development guidance while a public policy master plan is prepared for the area. The regulations require a POD review process and the “approval of the Planning Commission for each project, even if the project is otherwise in conformance with the regulations of the base zoning for a given parcel.” Click here to view the regulations.
