The Philadelphia Citizens Planning Institute is a new public outreach and education arm of the City Planning Commission. The goal of CPI is to improve general understanding of how planning and zoning works in Philadelphia and engage more citizens and community groups in shaping the future of their neighborhoods. A pilot program will be held this November with classes on planning, land use and zoning, and the development process. Applications are due October 11.
