Building industry weighs in on proposed Civic Design Review

BIA Philadelphia
The Building Industry Association (BIA) of Philadelphia submitted comments to the planning commission and ZCC about the Civic Design Review (CDR) process that is currently proposed for the new zoning code. While the BIA appreciates the value of public input and support, the group expressed concerns about the amount of required documentation and the potential of the CDR to cause delays. BIA members also want by-right projects exempted from review, representation on the CDR Committee, and clarity on the end result. Click here to review the BIA letter.
